Focus on the connective or stretch component of your design.  Bring material that will extend the design through the stretch portion.  Be aware that the stretch component of the design needs to be strong enough to withstand the tension between the units.   Weak connective material will not convince the viewer that tension exists between the two parts of the design.

Your connective material can be strengthened by doubling up, or wrapping plant material.

In addition to this connective, you will need two containers of similar form or design, but of different sizes.  The containers should be closely related.

Bring foliage and flowers to create your parent and child designs as well as floral foam, or needlepoints (frogs, pinholders) to place inside your containers.
