Basic Design II   "At Home With Flowers"

Transparency Designs     What to Bring           Print PDF Document

Transparent natural materials :
skeletonized foliage, branches, sea fans, open weave grasses, see-thorough flowers like gypsophilia (baby's breath)

Transparent man-made materials:
acrylic, glass, mesh, screening, open-weave fabric, grillwork, etc

Consider NOT using a vase.       This will expand your search for other ways in which to position plant  material, fresh or dried.   Maybe the transparent material provides the support.  If you eliminate the vase, you will be forced to be more creative!

This is the perfect design in which to also expand your space.  Think BIG. Take up some space.  Look around you for big materials to use - grids, forms, screens.
